APC, Inc. is very proud to have our manufacturing plants
certified the Feed Certification Institute (FCI). The strict
guidelines and certification process, limits the number of
manufacturing plants that can uphold such high standards.
Obtaining an FCI certification means that a facility has implemented
written quality control checkpoints and good manufacturing
practices within applicable industry standards and FDA regulations
and guidelines. Over the past year, APC has worked to comply
with these guidelines in all of our production facilities,
which has led to each of our 7 United States facilities receiving
a Plasma and Hemoglobin Certification from FCI.
FCI is a non-profit, third-party corporation developed to
monitor and certify manufacturing facilities that comply with
strict collecting, handling, processing and storing guidelines
defined in the 21 CFR, set to reduce the possibility of cross-contamination
of ruminant feed products with protein derived from mammalian
tissues.
